1. Information You Store in the App

CashPath Planner processes the information you enter to help you plan your finances. This may include account names and balances, income and expenses, categories, dates, planned and actual amounts, and financial forecasts. Your budget files may also contain monthly reconciliations and their status, next-year budget drafts, yearly archives, and records used to undo budget approvals. Your language preference is stored locally in the app’s settings.

FJ Develop does not receive your budget contents. CashPath Planner does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics services.

2. How Information Is Used

Information is processed on your device to provide budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, comparisons between planned and actual amounts, monthly reconciliation, and planning across budget years. Historical records support yearly archives and undoing certain changes. When an older budget file is upgraded, a local copy of the original file is saved for recovery.

3. Data Sharing

FJ Develop does not share, sell, or rent your budget data. You decide whether to export or share your files. If you save files in iCloud Drive or another synchronised folder, the selected storage provider may store or synchronise those files under its own terms and privacy policy. CashPath Planner does not operate its own cloud synchronisation service.

4. Data Storage and Retention

CashPath Planner works with budget documents on your Mac or iPad. You choose where to save or export them. Depending on that location and your device settings, files may also be synchronised or backed up by your operating system or chosen storage provider.

When you open a budget created with an older supported file format, the app automatically stores a separate copy of the original file in its local application-support storage, in a folder named MigrationBackups. These recovery copies are not automatically removed when you edit or delete information in the current budget. The app does not currently apply an automatic expiry period to these copies. Certain file imports may also create temporary local files.

Budget documents and migration copies use JSON and are not separately encrypted by CashPath Planner. Protection provided by your device or storage provider depends on your settings. FJ Develop does not operate a server that stores your financial data.

5. Your Control and Deletion

You can edit information in the app and manage your saved budget files. To remove all copies of particular information, you may also need to remove historical budget files, yearly archives, exported copies, and local migration copies. Deleting a current entry does not necessarily remove it from historical records or separate copies.

Uninstalling the app alone should not be relied on to delete documents you have saved elsewhere. Files in cloud storage, backups, or recently deleted folders are managed through the relevant device or storage provider. FJ Develop cannot access or delete those files for you.
