1. Information KitchenFlow Stores
KitchenFlow may store information that you create or choose to add, including:
- Food inventory, quantities, storage locations, expiry dates, and barcodes
- Recipes, ingredients, instructions, source links, and meal plans
- App settings and identifiers used for optional notifications and reminders
This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to create a backup or enable iCloud backup.
2. How Information Is Used
Your information is used only to provide KitchenFlow features, such as inventory management, expiry tracking, recipe matching, meal planning, backups, notifications, and reminders.
3. Camera and Barcode Lookup
KitchenFlow may request camera access so you can scan product barcodes. Camera images are used for scanning and are not stored by KitchenFlow.
When you request a product lookup, the scanned barcode and language preference are sent to Open Food Facts to retrieve available product information. Open Food Facts processes that request according to its own privacy policy.
4. Recipe Import and Sharing
When you import a recipe from a website, KitchenFlow connects to the web address you provide and reads available recipe information. The website may receive standard connection information, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.
If you send a recipe link to KitchenFlow through the system share sheet, the selected link is passed to the app only so you can complete the import.
5. Notifications and Reminders
KitchenFlow may request permission to send local expiry notifications and, if you choose, to create preparation or defrosting reminders in Apple Reminders. These features are optional and can be changed in the app or your device settings.
6. Backups and iCloud
You may export or import a KitchenFlow backup file. Exporting happens only when you request it, and you choose where the file is saved or shared.
If you enable iCloud backup, KitchenFlow stores a backup in your private Apple iCloud container. Apple processes iCloud data according to its own terms and privacy policy. FJ Develop does not have access to your private iCloud account.
7. Data Sharing, Analytics, and Tracking
FJ Develop does not sell, rent, or use your KitchenFlow data for advertising. KitchenFlow does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies.
KitchenFlow connects to external services only for features you choose to use, including product lookup, recipe import, iCloud backup, and system sharing.
8. Data Deletion
You can delete items, recipes, and meal plans inside the app. Deleting KitchenFlow removes locally stored app data. Backup files, Apple Reminders, shared copies, or iCloud backups may need to be deleted separately from the service or location where they are stored.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if KitchenFlow's features or data practices change. The latest version will always be available on this website.
